PC Patch 4229

PC Patch 4229 was released on April 15, 2004.

Highlights

New features

1. Experience points
   • Now Reborn characters can obtain full experience points from killing monsters.
2. PK Tournament
   • The admission period for PK tournament is extended from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, i.e. players can enter the PK fields during 21:00~21:30 PST. The Winners can claim their prizes from General Winner during 21:30 ~ 24:00 PST.

Bugs fixed

1. Training Ground
   • While characters were training in Training Ground, they stopped training automatically after half an hour or so.
2. Test Island Quest
   • Although all amulets were available, no yellow switch appeared that players could not finish this quest.
3. Mystic Merchant
   • When it was time for Mystic Merchant to sell Gems and Dragon Balls, she did not appear in the Market in Phoenix Server.
4. Exiting the game
   • Players were connected to the official site upon exiting the game. Exiting back to desktop is enabled now.
5. Monsters
   • Some monsters had no HP bars above their head that it was difficult to judge when they would die.
6. Texts
   • Some words on the panel of item descriptions and NPC dialogs were separated into two lines.
7. Game Skins
   • As Skin two is not available, players could not relog in to game after they changed Skin one to Skin Two. Now this function is disabled.
8. Taoist Moon
   • When Fire Saints talked to Taoist Moon, he regarded them as Water Saints.
9. Chinese Messages
   • Some NPCs spoke Chinese. From now on, they only speak English.
